Lead paint chip soil testing is needed almost always when a child that is living in home or multi family complex/building is diagnosed with elevated EBL (elevated blood levels).  It is also common to test soil for Lead paint chips in soil before and after exterior Lead paint removal or encapsulation of lead paint on siding, posts, window trim, replacement window's etc.

Asbestos soil testing maybe performed after an asbestos abatement contractor has removed ACM (asbestos containing material) from the roof or siding or if a non-certified person(s) removes these materials without a permit.

All soil samples are sent to a third-party lab for analysis.
